[cle-release-team] Pack-demo for 2.9.x?

Hi CLE release team,

Should I be able to create a pack-demo for 2.9.x (not a tagged version)?  (mvn install -P pack-demo)

Failing for me. Here is the error. Not sure if I should try digging further:

Perhaps it is something special created wth a tagged release?
