[cle-release-team] KNL-1011 - Performance improvements for SiteService and Portal

A big "yes, please" from me on merging into trunk.  The QA team should be
able to verify regression avoidance with a couple days of testing.  If we
can avoid API changes, we should get this into 2.9.2.  Thanks for the
detailed work here.
