Hi Samigo team,

[CLE release team, if I missed anything please feel free to correct]

Just double checking on some potential blockers for 2.9 and making sure everyone is on the same page. Can you please check the following?

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1835 - looks like a blocker , regression from 2.8

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1828  - This should be queued up for fixing in RC02, but let us know if there is anything we should watch for.

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-658 - not planning on merging for 2.9, looks like it touches a lot of code. 

https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAM-1724 - not planning on merging for 2.9, CLE release team not sure if this way to handle the exception is the right approach
