[cle-release-team] Updating tomcat in 2.8

We are trying to update tomcat 5.5 in 2.8 to the newest version but
ran into a little snag since we use this custom package. I have
written up the steps from anthony into a ticket here:

If anyone has any experience with this in the past, can you double check this?
