I was looking at other layouts as the default "button overload" layout is
52 buttons over 3 rows in trunk. If you add in spell checkers and equation
editors that gets to be even more. So somethings gotta give. Even Sam's 40
button layout is an improvement but can still probably go further.

In Wordpress they've got 15 buttons by default

That last button there is called "Show Hide Kitchen Sink", even if you get
the kitchen sink, it only adds in 1 more row of 13 more buttons to a total
of 28, still half of our total.

This looks like a good write up of the "Show Hide Kitchen
Sink" functionality which may be what we could use. Figure out the basic
row, and allow someone to click a button to see everything (the advanced
mode)

Canvas only has one layout and uses TinyMCE. 20 buttons over 2 rows.
