[cle-release-team] CTools 2.9 Release Alpha Tag

Hi all,

To confirm, there will be tags taken from 2.9-SNAPSHOT (trunk) as 2.9.0-a01 etc but the version of trunk will remain at 2.9-SNAPSHOT, as previously discussed, until later in the year?
