[cle-release-team] lesson builder for 2.9

I have some concern that we're discussing the inclusion of a new feature in a new tool for 2.9.   Prior to the meeting  I'd like to hear why this is compelling enough to make an exception. 

IMHO, local testing isn't enough.

BTW, the release team is tentatively planning on branching 2.9 (and setting trunk free and wild) in a couple of weeks.
