Noah and Steve were coordinating on some pom consolidation between master
and root.... I'm not sure of the current status.

But yes, let's proceed with branching.  I am around to help all day... I'm
on Skype (SamOttenhoff) or Gtalk (ottenhoff at longsight.com) if you want to
coordinate.
