Dear Colleagues,

My name is Alan Regan and I am this year's Program Chair for the 2012 Jasig Sakai joint conference.  If you can believe it, the conference is almost upon us!  I'm very excited about this year's event.  First, it's a two-fer -- two conferences for the price of one!  Next, we have a robust and diverse program that represents the wisdom, sweat, and enthusiasm of over 130 speakers representing more than 60 organizations from around the globe.  Finally, in addition to the great sessions on the products and projects of Sakai and Jasig, you'll also enjoy sessions on hot topics like learning analytics, identity management, lecture capture, and more.
