[Announcements] Southeastern US regional community

This is not so much an announcement as an attempt to gauge interest in
regional collaboration and events for the southeastern US. I think
there's now a strong pocket that combines new adopters and old hands
in our corner of the world, and I'd like to take advantage of it.

What we might pull together will depend on the interests of those
involved, but an early thought is that with the big conference in
Berlin next year we might have a regional conference as a budget
option for wider community engagement.

Rather than contact only those I'm already familiar with, I wanted to
make a wider call here. If you or your institution are interested in
regional coordination in the Southeast, please do get in touch with
me, and if there's enough interest we'll arrange an initial round of
dialogue to discuss what we'd like to do together.
