[Announcements] Community Update: Sakai Teaching and Learning Group

Please join the Sakai Teaching and Learning (T&L) Group for a quarterly
community update on Thursday, December 9.

As a reminder, the T&L Group is progressing four initiatives in 2010 - 2011:

   1. Enhance and expand the Teaching with Sakai Innovation Award
   2. Further the Design Lenses developed in 2009 - 2010 to guide the
   development of the Sakai Open Academic Environment (formerly Sakai 3)
   3. Share best practices in delivery of distance education
   4. Increase student engagement in the Sakai community

Each of the initiative sub-groups will present progress and solicit feedback
and input from the community.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the full range of work in one
brief update, to evaluate participation in one of these initiatives, or to
identify touch points with other initiatives across the community.

Please join us. There is no need to register in advance. I would be happy to
answer any questions about the meeting or logistics.
