[WG: Accessibility] are browser spell checks considered accessible?

Hi,
SAK-19538 turns off the ckeditor spellchecker because it is an add-on that runs advertisements. The alternative is to enable the browser specific spellcheckers, which is probably what we will do. It sounds like a great suggestion, except that Alan Berg made a comment in the JIRA that this is "probably not accessible." I don't know if he has specific information, does anyone know much about whether this is an actual problem?
