For those with an interest in ARIA, or in the CKEditor's accessibility, there is a page in the FCKeditor's "Design and Architecture" documents that describes the editor's use of ARIA (as found in CKEditor starting with version 3.2).

The page can be found here: http://docs.cksource.com/FCKeditor_3.x/Design_and_Architecture/ARIA_Described

Of note, it suggests using Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or later and JAWS 11 for the best accessibility experience when using CKEditor 3.2.

Also of note, no matter which editing mode (WYSIWYG mode, source mode, etc.) is being used, the editing area is the only element that participates in page tabbing. The other elements (like the toolbar) are not included in the page's tabbing order. Therefore a link to instructions for accessing the editor using the keyboard (that appears before the editor in the page's tabbing order) will probably be needed.
