Hi Eli,

Thanks for taking the Accessibility Statement around! I look forward to hearing the Product Council's response.

I went back and reread the email that accompanied the accessibility statement. I am wondering if, when the statement goes out for general community feed back if we should leave it as "We are excited to hear your feedback", or use a more directed request for feedback.

The list of email groups to send it out to looks fine to me.

Subject: [WG: Accessibility] Feedback on Sakai 3 Accessibility Statement > Nada

Hi folks,
On Feb. 3rd, I sent an email to the Sakai Management email list requesting feedback on our draft Accessibility Statement. (The managers group covers the Product Council and those folks in the community who commit resources to the design, development, and maintenance of Sakai.)

I haven't heard anything back, which I'm going to take as a thumbs up. I have a Product Council meeting tomorrow where I'll ask a little more directly if anyone would like to give feedback before we take the next step.

Which brings me to the next step. I think we should send the statement out for general community feedback.

So if it's OK with everyone, unless I hear differently from the PC tomorrow, I'd like to send the statement out for review to sakai-dev, sakai-ux, pedagogy, sakai-user, and sakai-qa.

Does that seem like the right group?
Should we stage it, send it out to the core design and dev groups before everyone else?
Any other concerns?

Thanks,
Eli
